Sun Signs for July 2022

The information in this column is limited. It does not replace your seeing your astrologer. If you know the sign of your Moon and your Ascending sign, read those sections also. This information is helpful because it mentions planets passing through your sign. These do bring opportunities.

Special note: Here’s wishing all of you the best in July. The emphasis this month is on the signs Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, and Leo. Whatever we have in our own charts, we also become these qualities temporarily. Aries takes action, Taurus calms, Gemini notices, Cancer cares, and Leo performs. Mars until the 5^th and Jupiter are in Aries. This increases our energy, enthusiasm, and activity. We are young again. Mars squares Pluto and we should be circumspect to avoid trouble. Mars is in Taurus from the 5^th and shows drive and/or stress about money and practical matters. Mars in the same sign with Uranus brings surprises into these matters. Mercury until the 5^th, and Venus in weeks 1 and 2 are in Gemini; this increases are mental and verbal activity. Since Mercury and Venus are sharing a sign with Neptune, we should seek clarity. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3 and Mercury in weeks 2 and 3, and Venus in weeks 3 and 4 are in Cancer which directs our attention to emotion and care giving. Squares with Jupiter may show us exaggerating.This is followed by oppositions to Pluto and trines to Neptune; we succeed in dealing with forces through insight and imagination. The Sun and Mercury in week 4 are in powerful, flashy, playful Leo and promote these qualities. Trines to Jupiter show optimism. Mercury opposes Saturn and squares Uranus later in the month and shows us to be smart but concerned. Saturn, is still in Aquarius for another year. It can bring difficulty to Aquarian things like: humanity, knowledge, friends, hope, and the future. It is important that we think, act, and behave in positive ways to counter this. This affects the world and us personally. Saturn can also promote drive and get us where we want to go. Uranus in Taurus until 2026 brings the unexpected in finances, and the original in art. For Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius dealing with the unexpected or disruptive is on tap. This will take good managerial skills and the ability to know what we can manage, and what we can’t. Resting, being one of the good guys, and not living on the edge are important. Saturn is squaring Uranus this year; this can bring unexpected trouble, and trouble with technical things. So we need to stay on top of things. Fortunately this square is weaker from March through July. Neptune is still in its long term stay in its own sign of altered states, Pisces. Meditation can help us do this in legal and safe ways.

Pluto is still in Capricorn and brings transformation to government and business.

A Full Moon in Capricorn on the 12^th and the 13^th contrasts private and public life.

A New Moon in Leo on the 28^th, the 29^th, and much of the 30^th brings a new start in power.

Remember that new, full, and quarter moons are powerful times during the month. Actions taken at these times should be positive and well thought out. The quarter moons are in Libra on the 6^th the 7^th and in Aries 18^th, 19^th, and much of the 20^th.

Days that look fairly harmonious this month are: 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 27, & 31. For really important events, it requires a deeper look. Part of the magic of Astrology is how much better things go when we start things on good days.

Aries: March 20 to April 20. (Iran’s Moon, Angelina Jolie’s Moon, Manafort’s Sun, Pelosi’s Sun, A.O.C.’s Moon, Bernie’s Moon, Kamala Harris’ Moon) Mars until the 5^th and Jupiter are in your sign. Mars brings energy and activity, but manage stress. Jupiter brings good change and expansion. Jupiter’s position lasts until Nov. and comes back in ’23 for 4.5 months. These planets bring people and opportunity. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3, Mercury in weeks 2 and 3 and Venus in weeks 3 and 4 square you from Cancer. Feelings and home matters may interfer with your actions. Try to sort this out. Pluto is also squaring you from Capricorn for another year. Try to honor both your personal agenda and your public image. And take special care with people above you. In week 4 the Sun and Mercury are trineing you from Leo; this promotes you and brings some fun. Moon in your sign on the 18^th, the 19^th, and much of the 20^th brings people and events, and requires positive action.

Taurus: April 21 to May 21. (Biden’s Moon, Israel’s Sun, Melania’s Sun, Manafort’s Moon, Schumer’s Moon, O’rourke’s Moon, Booker’s Sun, E. Warren’s Moon) Mars from the 5^th is in your sign; this brings drive and energy, but manage stress and watch out for conflict. The Sun and Mercury square you from Leo in week 4. Try to build self esteem and speak well. Saturn squares you from Aquarius for one more year, and requires harmonizing friendships and money matters. Also try to get along with authority, and get deserved rest. This can bring new goals and success if you stay positive and be your best. Uranus re-entered your sign on March ’19 and stays until 2026; this will bring very interesting things and people to you. New vistas will open up for you. Plan for the unexpected; you will be managing it. Also be a good judge of character to avoid the influence of unreliable people. Mars moving through your sign adds to this. Pluto in Capricorn trines you for a another year; this shows groups, practical methods, and learning promoting success and finances. Moon in your sign later on the 20^th, the 21^st, and 22^nd brings people and events.

Gemini May 22 to June 21. (Kanye West’s Sun. Obama’s Moon, Charlie Sheen’s Rising Sign, Gingrich’s Sun, Giuliani’s Sun, Trump’s Sun, Angelina Jolie’s Sun, Kamala Harris’ Ascendant, Amy Klobuchar’s Sun & Moon, Stacey Abrams’ Moon, Rick Scott’s Moon) Mercury until the 5^th, and Venus in weeks 1, 2, and 3 are in your sign. This brings interesting and pleasant people with opportunity. Saturn in Aquarius trines you for another year. This brings structure that is good for you and learning. Neptune is in Pisces squaring you until ’25. Imagination but also problems of will can come to you. If you value discipline and being realistic, you can get some intellectual and spiritual good out of this. Stay on good terms with those above you. Moon in your sign on the 23rd, the 24^th, and morning of the 25^th brings people and events.

Cancer June 22 to July 23. (Kanye West’s Asc., Bush’s Sun and the Sun of the U.S., Casey’s Moon, Angelina Jolie’s Asc., Jussi Smollette’s Sun, Lindsey Graham’s Sun, Elizabeth Warren’s Sun.) Mars until the 5^th and Jupiter square you from Aries. This brings more excitement into your life. This is great but it may interfer with domestic life. Try to manage stress and conflict for Mars if necessary. And for Jupiter, which will be here until November and again in ’23 until mid-May, try to respect rules and avoid excess. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3, Mercury in weeks 2 and 3, and Venus in weeks 3 and 4 are in your sign and bring things and people that are important, interesting, and pleasant with opportunity. While the Sun is in your sign try to increase success and happiness. A long term opposition from Pluto in Capricorn requires good use of power. Build self esteem before dealing with any thing or person that is threatening. Neptune is trining you from Pisces until ’25; this benefits you and makes you more imaginative, insightful, and promotes learning. Moon in your sign later on the 25^th, the 26^th, and 27^th brings people and events.

Leo: July 24 to Aug 23. (Timberlake’s Ascendant, Obama’s Sun, Schwarzenegger’s Sun, Caylee’s Sun, Israel’s . Moon, Trump’s Ascendant, Robert Mueller’s Sun, Andrew Gillum’s Sun) The Sun and Mercury are in your sign in week 4; this brings important and interesting people with opportunity. While the Sun is in your sign, the vibe is right to increase success and happiness. Mars until the 5^th, and Jupiter trine you from Aries and bring enthusiasm and excitement. Jupiter will continue this until Nov. and again in ’23 until mid-May. It brings good things and people to you. Uranus in Taurus squares you until 2026. You may be managing the unexpected. Maintain balance and manage that which you can. New vistas will open up to you. Watch out for undo influence and try to get along with those above you. Mars joins Uranus after the 5^th. This is a time to use Mars energy to be constructive, while also managing stress and conflict. Saturn entered Aquarius in mid-Dec. ’20 and opposes you for another year. This is a big deal. This planet can bring opportunity if you can get along with the ambitious, older, and serious people that you are attracting. Also this planet adds to the Uranian tensions mentioned above. Virgo: Aug 24 to Sept 23. (Fallon’s Sun, McCain’s Sun, Charlie Sheen’s Sun, Jeb Bush’s Ascendant, Bernie’s Sun, Roger Stone’s Sun, Bernie Sander’s Sun, Cory Booker’s Moon, Ron Desantis’ Sun) Uranus is in Taurus until 2026; it is trining you and brings unexpected support and learning. Mars joins Uranus from the 5^th and adds energy and action to this. Mercury until the 5th and Venus in weeks 1, 2, and 3 square you from Gemini. Try to speak well, and get along to get some good out of this. Neptune is opposing you from Pisces until ’25. This will make you more imaginative but value building discipline. See mate clearly. A positive attitude towards imaginative people will bring beneficial contacts. Pluto in Capricorn is in a long term trine with your Sun. This brings success through being practical and organized, and also by association with groups. It might even bring some fun. And home matters may need attention. Mars until the 5^th and Jupiter oppose you from Aries. This brings a variety of people with possible opportunity.
