Sun Signs for October 2022

The information in this column is limited. It does not replace your seeing your astrologer. If you know the sign of your Moon and your Ascending sign, read those sections also. This information is helpful because it mentions planets passing through your sign. These do bring opportunities.

Special note: Here’s wishing all of you the best in October. The emphasis this month is on the signs Aries, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio. Whatever we have in our own charts, we also become these qualities temporarily. Aries takes action, Gemini notices, Virgo serves, Libra relates, and Scorpio reacts. Jupiter continues in Aries and promotes action and enthusiasm. Mars is in Gemini from week 4 of August until the 4^th week of March. This is huge and affects anyone with something important in Gemini, for example, the U.S., Trump, Kamala, and Biden. We all should harmonize our thoughts and speech to counter the tendency for these areas to be tense. While Mars is in Gemini, it squares mysterious & illussive Neptune. This confuses, events, energy, and actions. Mercury is in Virgo until the 10^th; our analytical skills are strong and we may figure some things out. The Sun in weeks 1, 2, and 3; Mercury after the 10^th; and Venus until the 23^rd are in Libra. This turns our minds to relationships. After mid month these bodies square Pluto and bring extremes. The Sun and Venus in week 4 and Mercury after the 29^th are in Scorpio and make us good investigators. .Mercury is retrogradr on the 1^st ; one last day with the eraser. Saturn, is still in Aquarius until March of ’23. It can bring difficulty to Aquarian things like: humanity, knowledge, friends, hope, and the future. It is important that we think, act, and behave in positive ways to counter this. This affects the world and us personally. Saturn can also promote drive and get us where we want to go. Uranus in Taurus until 2026 brings the unexpected in finances, and the original in art. For Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius dealing with the unexpected or disruptive is on tap. This will take good managerial skills and the ability to know what we can manage, and what we can’t. Resting, being one of the good guys, and not living on the edge are important. Saturn is squaring Uranus this year; this can bring unexpected trouble, and trouble with technical things. This is very strong this month. So we need to stay on top of things. Mars is trining Saturn while in Gemini and shows that action is helping problems. Neptune is still in its long term stay in its own sign of altered states, Pisces. Meditation can help us do this in legal and safe ways.

Pluto is still in Capricorn and brings transformation to government and business.

A Full Moon in Aries on the afternoon of the 8^th, the 9^th and much of the 10^th contrasts “I versus thou”.

A New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on the 25^th, and 26^th brings a new start in secret areas and important events.

Remember that new, full, and quarter moons are powerful times during the month. Actions taken at these times should be positive and well thought out. The quarter moons are in Capricorn on the 2^nd, and 3^rd and in Cancer on the afternoon of the 15, the 16^th, and 17^th.

Days that look fairly harmonious this month are: 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 20, 23, 24, & 30. For really important events, it requires a deeper look. Part of the magic of Astrology is how much better things go when we start things on good days.

Aries: March 20 to April 20. (Iran’s Moon, Angelina Jolie’s Moon, Manafort’s Sun, Pelosi’s Sun, A.O.C.’s Moon, Bernie’s Moon, Kamala Harris’ Moon) Jupiter is in your sign; it brings good change and expansion. Jupiter’s position lasts until Nov. and comes back in ’23 for 4.5 months. This planet brings people and opportunity. The Sun and Venus in weeks 1, 2, and 3, and Mercury in weeks 2, 3, and 4, oppose you from Libra; this can bring opportunity if you can get along with civil types. Pluto is squaring you from Capricorn through March. Try to honor both your personal agenda and your public image. And take special care with people above you. Full Moon in your sign on the afternoon of the 8^th, the 9^th, and much of the 10^th brings people and events, and focuses on you.

Taurus: April 21 to May 21. (Biden’s Moon, Israel’s Sun, Melania’s Sun, Manafort’s Moon, Schumer’s Moon, O’rourke’s Moon, Booker’s Sun, E. Warren’s Moon) Until the 10^th Mercury trines you from Virgo and brings support. The Sun and Venus in week 4 and Mercury from the 29^th oppose you from Scorpio. This can bring opportunity if you can get along with intense types. Saturn squares you from Aquarius until March of ’23, and requires harmonizing friendships and money matters. Also try to get along with authority, and get deserved rest. This can bring new goals and success if you stay positive and be your best. Uranus re-entered your sign on March ’19 and stays until 2026; this will bring very interesting things and people to you. New vistas will open up for you. Plan for the unexpected; you will be managing it. Also be a good judge of character to avoid the influence of unreliable people. Pluto in Capricorn trines you until March ’23; this shows groups, practical methods, and learning promoting success and finances. Gemini May 22 to June 21. (Kanye West’s Sun. Expect energy that you can use however you want; but manage stress and conflict if necessary. This is very important. Mercury squares you from Virgo until the 10th; try to deal well with taking information in and putting it out. The Sun and Venus in weeks 1, 2, and 3; Mercury after the 10^th trine you from Libra. Interaction with people promotes you in many ways. Saturn in Aquarius trines you until March ’23. This brings structure that is good for you and brings learning. Neptune is in Pisces squaring you until ’25. Imagination but also problems of will can come to you. If you value discipline and being realistic, you can get some intellectual and spiritual good out of this. Stay on good terms with those above you. Jupiter squares you from Aries. This brings more excitement into your life; but it may interfer with domestic life. Jupiter will be here until November and again in ’23 until mid-May; try to respect rules and avoid excess. The Sun and Venus in weeks 1, 2, and 3, Mercury after the 10^th, square you from Libra. When interacting with people try to build self esteem, speak well, and get along. The Sun and Venus in week 4 and Mercury from the 29^th trine you from Scorpio and bring support. A long term opposition from Pluto in Capricorn requires good use of power. Build self esteem before dealing with any thing or person that is threatening. When dealing with secretive things and people, be effective and get along the best you can. Uranus in Taurus squares you until 2026. You may be managing the unexpected. Maintain balance and manage that which you can. New vistas will open up to you. Watch out for undo influence and try to get along with those above you. Saturn entered Aquarius in mid-Dec. ’20 and opposes you until March ’23. This is a big deal. This planet can bring opportunity if you can get along with the ambitious, older, and serious people that you are attracting. Also this planet adds to the Uranian tensions mentioned above. Virgo: Aug 24 to Sept 23. From the 20^th of August until week 4 of March, Mars is in Genini and squares you. This can add energy that you can use for all kinds of actions, but manage stress and conflict if necessary. This is important. Mercury until the 10^th is in your sign and brings interesting people and news. Neptune is opposing you from Pisces until ’25. This will make you more imaginative but value building discipline. See mate clearly. A positive attitude towards imaginative people will bring beneficial contacts.
