Oct. ’19 S.T.A.R. Guild Meeting Report

S.T.A.R. Guild October ’19 Meeting Report

In Oct. we looked at Supreme Court Justices. We have birth times on only 3 members. For the rest we have used solar house charts.

The Justices had: strong charts; planets in Aquarius; planets in Cancer; strong Jupiters, Saturns, and Mercurys; all but 1 had an opposition in their charts. Aquarius and Cancer are important because these signs are important in the U.S chart. The opposition is important because looking at two opposing sides is part of judging. Their Mercurys were heavily aspected. 7 of the Justices have a conjunction of a planet to Mercury. I noted many aspects between Mercury and Uranus. These are aspects of mental brilliance. 4 had major aspects between these two. One had them in mutual reception. Two had them inconjunct. Two had Mercury and Uranus out of conjunction orb but in the same sign. And one had a cardinal square with a 14 degree orb. (One justice who had an inconjunct also had the mutual reception.) Four justices had a conjunction to Jupiter.
Six Justices also had a planet in the signs Aries, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio. Four had a conjunction of Mercury and Venus.

Here are major planetary statements for each Justice.
Gorsuch: Jupiter square Neptune and Mars. Sun, Venus, & Mercury conjunct in Virgo. Pluto & Uranus conjunct in Virgo.
Kagan: Sun oppose Neptune, trine Jupiter and Pluto. Venus conjunct Mercury square Saturn trine Uranus.
Roberts: Mercury oppose Pluto, trine Neptune, square Saturn, sextile Venus. Jupiter conjunct Uranus, square Neptune, trine Saturn.
Ginsburg: Venus & Sun in Pisces; Mars, Neptune, and Jupiter in Virgo. (Sun oppose Jupiter) Moon square Saturn. Mercury and Uranus in Aries.
Kavanaugh: Sun and Mercury square Neptune, square Jupiter. Uranus, Pluto, Mars sextile Neptune, trine Jupiter.
Alito: Sun and Mercury oppose Neptune, trine Pluto. Moon conjunct Saturn, Moon conjunct Mars. Venus conjunct Jupiter.
Thomas: Uranus conjunct Sun, Mercury, & Venus. Jupiter oppose Uranus, square Mars. Asc conjunct Moon.
Breyer:Asc conjunct Mercury and Neptune and trine Uranus. Jupiter oppose Sun. Moon conjunct Saturn trine Mars and Sun.
Sotomayor: Sun conjunct Jupiter oppose Mars, trine Saturn. Mercury conjunct Uranus square Neptune.

As I look at these, I see the importance of Jupiter and smart Mercury, and higher octaves.

Of the 3 Justices for which we have birth times, two had Capricorn Ascendants, one Virgo rising, and all had planets in the 9th house.
This is only a start, when and if we have birth times, more meaning can be achieved.

Next month, we will meet on Tuesday, the 26th of November and look at what the planets are doing in 2020.

I’ll be at Book & Bead on Saturday, Nov. 16th doing astrology readings.
