Sept. ’18 Newsletter

From the Desk of Leslie Marlar, Sept. ’18

For those of you that are local, S.T.A.R. Guild Astrology study group will meet on Sept. 25th at the library in Cocoa at 308 Forrest Ave. at 6 pm in room 2. We will look at charts of interest. In August we revisited the current position of the planets and noted how they are affecting us. You can see my guild report on my site for details.

Last month we had numerous events.
The Aug. 5th Lombok quake happened with Mars square Uranus in the 1st and 4th whole sign houses. The luminaries were square and in angles causing increased gravitational force.
The Genoa bridge collapse on Aug. 14th happened with the Moon in Libra squaring Saturn in 1st and 4th houses. And the MC was opposing Mars.
On Aug. 16th Aretha Franklin died with the Moon in Scorpio in her 1st house.
On August 21st and 22nd, the Moon was in Capricorn where it joined Saturn, then Pluto, and then Mars. That day, the body of Mollie Tibet was found, Cohen pleaded guilty and implicated Trump, Manafort was found guilty on 8 counts, and a Nazi was deported from NYC.
On Aug. 25th John McCain died with the Moon in Aquarius, which is where his Moon is.
See my piece on his horoscope and life on my site under Position of the Planets, News & Notes.
On the 27th with Mercury squaring Jupiter, a new tentative trade deal between us and Mexico was announced.

In September, Mars continues to square Uranus which brings trouble until late in the month. Saturn continues to trine Uranus which helps a bit. Venus the love planet, is in intense, passionate Scorpio in weeks 2, 3, and 4 of Sept. and all of October. We might remember that some things said and done can never be taken back. Mercury leaves Leo in early Sept. for the first time since late June. We may note a change in our interests and concerns.
Here are things we can be excited about in Sept.
Mercury in Virgo in weeks 2 and 3 helps us think and see clearly.
Venus in week 1 in Libra promotes love and beauty.
Mars in Capricorn in week 1 promotes focused action.
Saturn in Capricorn until ’21 stimulates the setting of long term goals.
Neptune in Pisces until ’25 makes us more imaginative.
Uranus trine Saturn promotes progress and science.
And the Sun trine the Moon on the 19th and 29th promote healing.

New Moon in Virgo on the 8th, 9th, and morning of the 10th brings a new start in work matters. Full Moon in Aries later on the 24th, 25th, and 26th contrasts identity and relating.
Fairly harmonious days in Sept. are: 3, 8, 9, 13, 14, 19, 22, 23,28, 29, & 30.
I’ll be at Book & Bead on Saturday, Sept. 22nd doing Astrology mini readings. This is a very relaxed and affordable way to be introduced to the meaning of your horoscope.
