Feb. ’19 Newsletter

From the Desk of Leslie Marlar, Feb. ’19

For those of you who are local, S.T.A.R. Guild astrology study group meets on Feb 26th, Tuesday at the library in Cocoa, at 6 pm. We will look at the charts of Supreme Court Justices and other charts of topical interest.

This past month we looked at Venus in our charts and started a little research project. We are watching our own Venus type events and watching Venus move around our charts. We are looking to see if we have important social events etc. when Venus is in important places in our charts, for example, the angles.

This past month we had notable events.
The government shutdown started with troublesome Mars squaring and opposing the angles at midnight on Dec. 22nd. There was a Full Moon on the next day.

China landed a spacecraft on the far side of the Moon on Jan. 3rd with the Moon in long distance travel sign, Sagittarius. The Sun was in goal sign, Capricorn with goal planet, Saturn. Also on the 3rd, newly elected Congressmen and Senators were sworn in. Capricorn is a government sign and Saturn a government planet.
The buzzfeed story came out on Jan 17th and was called inaccurate by the Mueller probe on the 18th. Both days the Moon was in Gemini, Trump’s Sun sign. His Sun trines Jupiter which is very lucky, and the story started badly for him and ended well.
There was another shooting in Sebring on Jan. 23rd. There was a T square between the Moon, extreme Neptune, and Venus and Jupiter in shooting sign, Sagittarius. Due to the involvement of Neptune and the Moon, I think he will be found to be off mentally.

Next month Saturn continues to near Pluto, making for rather extreme difficulties. Mars joins Uranus at mid-month; This joins the qualities of trouble and surprise. This is when the continuing resolution ends.
New Moon in Aquarius on the 3rd, 4th, and most of the 5th brings a new start in our social & intellectual lives.
Full Moon in Virgo on the 19th and 20th contrasts mission and vision.
Fairly good days this month: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11 somewhat, 14, 18, 23, 24, & 25.
